Ridden by jockey Vicente Del-Cid and trained by Thomas M. Amoss for owner Highlander Training Center, Simultaneity was the post-time favorite at odds of 0.30. She lived up to her billing, vying for the early lead and saving ground around the final turn. Simultaneity was bred in Kentucky by Jack Swain III and was purchased for $175,000 as a yearling at the Keeneland September sale by Shepherd Equine Advisers, acting as agent for Larry Hirsch of Highlander Training Center.
